Metallica : One of the best bands ever!!!!
Metallica. A household name. The 7th biggest selling act in American history.
Who'd have thought it when, on October 28th, 1981, drummer Lars Ulrich made guitar player/singer James Hetfield an offer he couldn't refuse: "I’ve got a track saved for my band on Brian Slagel's new Metal Blade label." After that one Metallica went on to record their next album "And Justice For All..." which was released
in 1988 and gave Metallica a good dose of reputation...
Cliff Burton died in car accident while on tour in Europe with Metallica. The tour had to be thus canceled. Burton, who was one of the greatest bassist our
world has ever seen, passed out at September 27 1986. He was only 24 years old...
...in 1991 Metallica's masterpiece is out. The "Black Album" or " Metallica" gave Metallica the boost they
needed to go sky high. From then on their lives changed forever. As countless Lives were added to
the listed ones, as well as countless money was added to their bank accounts. Metallica equaled
from then on pure metal, ultimate success as well as reputation. They, the Four Horsemen of the
Apocalypse, Metallica, the Noes of Metal were from then on imposed as THE metal band.
After the Black Album came their Pinge & Purge Live Shit which was published in various versions
like the Case-Version which contained Cd's and DVD's and other collectibles and the Cd and DVD
Version.
In 1996 Metallica's album "Load" was released. This album shows the band's tendency to change it's
sound, as they abandon their typical-of-theirs heavy metal sound and swiftly change it to a more thrash metal one. Nevertheless the fans are receptive this time as well, although not that much like
with other metallica albums. After Load and in 1997 Metallica release their next album called "Reload"
It follows the path its "ancestor" had tracked...
In 1999 S&M ( Symphony and Metallica) shows the world that even metal and classical music can together
make awesome music. It proves that even out of the weirdest thing can come something nice...
After the S&M Album, Metallica doesn't give any life signs until 2003, when it's latest album
came out. It is called St. Anger . Many think of it as a try of getting back to their roots that failed. Others
adore it and others renounce it from being a Metallica Album...
Until today Metallica haven't released any new album and many think that this might be the end of 'em
Noone can say for sure till there are no more vital signs though. So let's leave Metallica surprise one
more time with another great, new album...
